They say that you dont realise how important that person is to you till they're gone. Sometimes i agree with them, sometimes i dont. i think its when something  life-threatening happens, it pulls that link between ourselves and the other person. we feel it. and its through these experiences (okay fine, they dont always have to be life-threatening. Let's just say an incident that we really rather not experience) that we slowly understand how important that person is.

2nd day in CHINA! daddy and i woke up early, like around 6? i didnt get to sleep much cause dad kept coughing. hahaha anyhow, we had breakfast then we set of for The GREAT WALL OF CHINA. it was so fun!! and steep. really really steep. daddy and i got all tired from it. he's still aching from it. HAHA after that we went to the ming tomb and i can safely say, ANCIENT RICH PEOPLE ARE SO WEIRD they bury themselves like......10 stories deep. SO WEIRD.

we went to stop by the olympic areas. didnt really like it so i didnt go in. ended up just eating at macs.THE FOOD IS STILL GOOD :D mcdonalds ftw. then we went to the arts centre and it was super duper impressive BUT esplanade is still better overall. went to have a taiwanese dinner AGAIN. but it was wayy wayy better :D

3rd day we woke up later. heavy breakfastssss D: we spent the WHOLE DAY walking the summer palave. seriously spoilt emperors and empresses. MAJOR.

daddy brought be to go and eat Ma La. it was quite spicy, and i already took the LEAST SPICY ONE. daddy got me boots too :D thankie daddy! it was expensive D: but good and supposed to be really long lasting so yay! Precis Boots:D we got 40% off so YAY.

watching barbie now! (dont laugh) its really nice! ;D

there's a funky china man

in a funky china town

okay, im in my bed now. hotel bed. beijing hilton hotel poofy bed. anyhoos. i thought i would see xiaxue today in the airport (not that i really wanted to, it was just a thought, a random not exactly super duper cool thought). but i got the dates wrong so HEY. i didnt see her. So anyhoos, mommy asked for me to have escorts and all. so i kinda felt like a star, just without the whole paparazzi and the fact that people can still come in close proximity. but i have the "Express" way. i found cool short cuts from the doors to the waiting area. wahahha. i hate walking past duty free shops. seriously, even without GST and all, the stuff there is still pretty much expensive. So i waited for the plane, was the first one to get in (very awesome), watched chinese people walk past me as i made myself comfortable in my business class seat (thankie daddy for letting me use the upgrade thing). i saw a few non-chinese walk past, and psst, nearly the whole crew knew who i was.

so anyways, lift off. i tried to fascinate myself by looking out of the window to see the world slowly become smaller. in the end, i got a headache cause of the sun that was GLARING into my eyes. but anyways, the flight attendants were really nice to me. took care of me, got me loadsa drinks (1 cup of earl grey, 4-5 cups of ginger ale and a glass of water), got me ice cream, offered me snacks (which i didnt eat cause i felt i was being a total glutton), went through the stuff i had to fill up, cracked a few jokes. they were really nice :D kudos for SIA :D Singapore rocketh yo. ok so i watched 2 movies. Gokusen the movie, which was totally fab (yankumi is so awesome. and AHHHHHHHH kamenashi kazuya) and touching, and Julia Julie, or is it Julie Julia. Same same. it was nice :D the seats were super comfy, but i kept refusing to let the flight attendants turn it into a bed cause i kept lying down in awkward positions

Anyhoos, touch down. the smart me kept looking out of the window again and got another headache. psshttsfzkdcjnz. i chatted with this super pretty flight attendant while waiting for my escort staff lady person. So i walked walked walked, got the fast way again and again. took a train down to the next terminal area ( ps, the train wasnt like our mrt or skytrain, it was like a mini roller coaster), walked really fast, spoke chinese :D hahaha, i met my daddy (yay) and then took a cab with him down to Beijing Hilton, which looked way more impressive than all the other buildings around. and..

there was no snow in sight.

ok maybe there was but it was left over snow from 2 days ago that was left on those hard to reach bushes.

anyhow, the hilton room is so pretty. the nicest part is the toilet. really. im NOT kidding. its so so chic. love it. daddy and i tried to fix some network problem but failed. so we just went for dinner. and GET THIS the first meal in china was not chinese food. HAHAHAHAHA taiwanese :D close enough right. heh. OH and the traffic is kinda crazy. the drivers just dont really care bout pedestrians and zebra crossings. so you kinda have to jaywalk everywhere you go or else you'll never ever get to cross.

so anyways, we're back in the hotel room. daddy figured out how to fix the network connection problem while he was pooping. he calls it a logical guess.. while pooping and looking at his iphone. some weird protocol stuff. HAHAHA. oh and the pillows are super fluffy. so yay! HAHAAH. im gonna go to the great wall tmr! and ming tomb then wang fu jing. summer palace and shopping on sunday! ha. ian suggested riding china bikes so i wont have to walk so much

its the holidays!!!!! :D its more boring than i thought it would be. finally brought myself to blog. HA. HA. HA. anyhoos! had a dancer's party on friday! it was so awesome other than the fact that

1. Fire for bbq was pms-ing

2. My red indian costume was BLEAGH

3. i felt so full i wanted to puke, and the feeling carried on till the next day. (sorry k, i got you worried D:)

BUT IT WAS SO FUN. we swam alot and well, did loadsa crazy things. splits, stunts, funny things:D Vienna was so cute! other than the fact that she kept wanting me to play snow white with her. im good with kids, but not overly sugar-high kids.

our truth or dare session was funny? kinda? looking at it in a good way. but its still kinda good. bonding timesss. i have never was funny too! hahaha. ru unintentionally targeted poh. she wanted to target all of us other than herself and jerry but she only said "i have never been born in 1992" and the only person was. Poh. Poor thing! HAAHHA.

i went to nat's place yesterday before accompanying her to the airport. She loved my present tyvm! we wrote on the card i made for amelia, which i made toooo and she loved it! ok ok. NAT showed me so you think you can dance vids, which were awesome ttm. but the best was still WONDER BABY

she's the cutest baby everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

anyhoos, so we took a cab with her mom and sis and SHE HAD A LOT OF BAGGAGE. nat dear, you're gonna be there for only 2 months? WASH YOUR CLOTHES.

had lunch at bk with amelia, k, nat, mark, and tabss. it was fun! amelia got pictures of us :D but i want her to crop out my thighs. those chunkymonkey thighs of mine.

took a train all the way back, it was supposed to be super duper boring but friends makes things fun yeah? k, mark and tabs spammed amelia's inbox! 200++ messages :O HAHAHA. k wanted to accompany till jurong but i told him to STAY AND GO TO CHURCH
