okay, im in my bed now. hotel bed. beijing hilton hotel poofy bed. anyhoos. i thought i would see xiaxue today in the airport (not that i really wanted to, it was just a thought, a random not exactly super duper cool thought). but i got the dates wrong so HEY. i didnt see her. So anyhoos, mommy asked for me to have escorts and all. so i kinda felt like a star, just without the whole paparazzi and the fact that people can still come in close proximity. but i have the "Express" way. i found cool short cuts from the doors to the waiting area. wahahha. i hate walking past duty free shops. seriously, even without GST and all, the stuff there is still pretty much expensive. So i waited for the plane, was the first one to get in (very awesome), watched chinese people walk past me as i made myself comfortable in my business class seat (thankie daddy for letting me use the upgrade thing). i saw a few non-chinese walk past, and psst, nearly the whole crew knew who i was.
so anyways, lift off. i tried to fascinate myself by looking out of the window to see the world slowly become smaller. in the end, i got a headache cause of the sun that was GLARING into my eyes. but anyways, the flight attendants were really nice to me. took care of me, got me loadsa drinks (1 cup of earl grey, 4-5 cups of ginger ale and a glass of water), got me ice cream, offered me snacks (which i didnt eat cause i felt i was being a total glutton), went through the stuff i had to fill up, cracked a few jokes. they were really nice :D kudos for SIA :D Singapore rocketh yo. ok so i watched 2 movies. Gokusen the movie, which was totally fab (yankumi is so awesome. and AHHHHHHHH kamenashi kazuya) and touching, and Julia Julie, or is it Julie Julia. Same same. it was nice :D the seats were super comfy, but i kept refusing to let the flight attendants turn it into a bed cause i kept lying down in awkward positions
Anyhoos, touch down. the smart me kept looking out of the window again and got another headache. psshttsfzkdcjnz. i chatted with this super pretty flight attendant while waiting for my escort staff lady person. So i walked walked walked, got the fast way again and again. took a train down to the next terminal area ( ps, the train wasnt like our mrt or skytrain, it was like a mini roller coaster), walked really fast, spoke chinese :D hahaha, i met my daddy (yay) and then took a cab with him down to Beijing Hilton, which looked way more impressive than all the other buildings around. and..
there was no snow in sight.
ok maybe there was but it was left over snow from 2 days ago that was left on those hard to reach bushes.
anyhow, the hilton room is so pretty. the nicest part is the toilet. really. im NOT kidding. its so so chic. love it. daddy and i tried to fix some network problem but failed. so we just went for dinner. and GET THIS the first meal in china was not chinese food. HAHAHAHAHA taiwanese :D close enough right. heh. OH and the traffic is kinda crazy. the drivers just dont really care bout pedestrians and zebra crossings. so you kinda have to jaywalk everywhere you go or else you'll never ever get to cross.
so anyways, we're back in the hotel room. daddy figured out how to fix the network connection problem while he was pooping. he calls it a logical guess.. while pooping and looking at his iphone. some weird protocol stuff. HAHAHA. oh and the pillows are super fluffy. so yay! HAHAAH. im gonna go to the great wall tmr! and ming tomb then wang fu jing. summer palace and shopping on sunday! ha. ian suggested riding china bikes so i wont have to walk so much
